nice, quite week-end planned…

January 29th, 2010

we have all the kids home and Karen is excited….she has gumbo, stack-up, and clam chowder planned so we will have a week-end of fun, fellowship and food…..karen made kyle and foster make the gumbo last night and they did great…….it was very good…

I have decided to leave Sunday afternoon and go to Dallas and stay with Karen’s brother then on to Houston Monday….I believe we have everything in order and things should go smoothly, of course there will be something that we didn’t think of….

we will be staying close to the facilities at MD Anderson this first trip….then I will be sponging off of friends and family that are in Houston if we have to have and extended stay………staying close on this initial visit is recommended so you can go back and forth to room and relax between appointments…

the ice storm hit last night but it was not as severe as expected…now we wait for the snow….sounds so exciting……

Continue to PRAY FOR A MIRACLE…..doug

Be safe in your travels….Enjoy the weekend with the family. I’m sure your friends and family consider it a privilege to have you staying with them. NOT sponging. Thanks for the update. I will continue praying for a miracle.
    I love you guys!
