1-23-2012 update..
January 23rd, 2012
Karen hadĀ another awesome week-end…..she had visitors from all over with Leesa (James) Lewis and her mother Martha coming the farthest from Tyler Texas……Leesa and Karen were child hood friends while her Dad Jack pastored FBC in late 60′s and early 70′s……..she had multiple church family visitors and the food well, it just keeps coming…….we had Tay’s birthday party Saturday night and around 20 of her friends and family came……Karen enjoyed it but around 9pm said it was time for everyone to leave…..she is so honest ……she said the noise started making her feel claustrophobic….why I don’t know…..Karen has been sleeping well and has been speaking a little out of character but not bad……She made Teralea sleep with her last night on the hospital bed…..PamĀ is back from Spearman and will be helping at night …….all is well with the Bakers……one last note, Kyle finally made me fulfill a promise to Karen and went to Lowes and picked up a new grill, I had told her it would be her birthday, our Christmas and my birthday presents…..yea she fell for it…..have a great week……..
Dale has not changed in his condition but has followed people with his eyes…..Gary has been doing a terrific job watching over his Dad…….this will probably be a big week for decisions for Gary to make concerning Dale so be lifting him up in prayer too…..thanks Doug……

Lifting the Baker/Holmes in prayer. May the Lord continue hearing our prayers to give Karen time without pain and Gary the strength to endure the decisions he is faced with. Our love to you.

Hello Doug,.. Im a friend of Harry Sneed. I cant imagine what pain & heartache youve been through with Karen & all ur family… I wanted to tell u bout a pastor that posts the healings of the most graphic cancers…. These are on youtube… For the last 15 yrs or so hes been doing this. Not only cancer… But every sickness.but the cancer healings are the ones u can see with ur eyes the before & after difference…. & this pastor nevr lays hands on u… Just stretches his hand towards u….. If u believe Jesus was risen from the dead then u have to believe in the resurrection POWER!…. BEFORE JESUS LEFT THIS EARTH HE SAID HE WAS GOIN TO TJE FATHER & HE WUD SEND US HIS SPIRIT TO BE OUR HELPER. & THAT WE WOULD DO GREATER WORKS THAN HE DID.. THE PASTOR THAT POSTS THESE VIDS WILL BE IN PASCO, WASHINGTON AT GOOD NEWS CHURCH FEB 10-12. .IF U WANA SEE WITH YOUR EYES GO TO YOUT.TYPE IN TB JOSHUA HEALINGS OR GO ON MY FB PAGE ..I POST THEM ALOT…. BLESSINGS… SONYA BURKS

Everyone should be able to feel part of, or at least get to witness, such a welcoming, loving family and community at least once in their lifetimes.
I continue to pray and wish you all peace and comfort.

Ditto to what Rick Reiley said! Knowing you all is such a sweet blessing. You are all in our prayers 24-7. When we wake up in the night, Karen is the first one that comes to Mark’s and my minds. So glad you all got to visit with Leesa and Martha. God used Jack James to bring me into the Baptist church. I will always love that family.
Susan
