Karen had a great day and a group of church ladies (Heartsong) came out tonight to sing and she really enjoyed that…..She is sleeping all day and talking her self to sleep at night…..pain is under control …no nausea ….but has started having difficulty swallowing……pray for continued strength and perseverance…..she is doing awesome…..
Dale continues to be in the ICU at the OU Medical Center…..continue to pray for both ….thanks doug……

Praying everyday as well and God seems to wake me up in the middle of the night and Karen is the first peron he puts on my heart and I just begin praying. He is always in control and praise Jesus as Karen would say that she continues to have pain free days and sleeping well. Love your sweet family!

Doug I have shared pictures and stories with my family about your wonderful wife…We are all praying for Karen and you and your family. I pray for Gods Will and Peace to be wrapped around all of you. Please tell Karen that I am remembering literally ringing in the New Year with her…she and Kevin and I stayed up until midnight so we could go outside and ring bells…My goodness we were so silly. Then please hug her tight for me and tell her that I Love Her!

I called and spoke with Pauline today. Was good to hear some of her news. I know your plate is full, Doug, so I am very thankful for these snippets of updates on our sweet K. I hope Tay had a super day today on her b/day. I understand you will celebrate as a family this weekend. We will stay in Texas this weekend and allow you that family time. However, I’m planning to be there very soon! I totally concur with one of the comments above. I too am being awakened early in the mornings with Karen on my heart and mind. I know God is having His children lift her and all of you up in prayer. Love all of you dearly. Steph and Neal
