update 1-12-2012 8pm

Karen is resting after a peaceful day……Hospice nurse came and changed out her port and catheter and gave a sponge bath…Karen is having some swelling in her right leg.probably due to tumor in lower pelvic area on that side causing pressure ….when I got home she was ready to stand and of course we stood for about 5 minutes then returned to bed….I was real surprised to see Teralea and she gave me an update on Dale…..still the same ….on a vent and doing dialysis with meds controlling blood pressure…..Dale does respond by opening his eyes when asked to do so……thanks for all you do in prayer, support, and of course the food…..we have ate like kings this past week……we will not waver due to all the awesome folks praying and ministering to the Baker Family……thanks again….Doug

Good to hear all that. It was really good for my soul to see her today. I talked her ear off. Asked her if she wanted me to hush and she said no. She’s a sweetheart. Hearing her whisper I love you is a special memory. Loved meeting Pauline – sweet lady. Praying for Gods mercies always.
